Hochschule Fresenius is a private and officially recognized university in Germany, founded in 1848, and is considered one of the oldest private higher education institutions in the country, with over 175 years of academic experience. The university is part of the Carl Remigius Fresenius Education Group, one of the largest private education groups in Germany. Hochschule Fresenius follows the University of Applied Sciences model, which focuses on combining theoretical knowledge with practical application in line with the requirements of the local and international labor market. The university offers a wide range of bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in fields such as business administration, economics, media, marketing, design, health sciences, social sciences, and chemistry. Many programs are taught in English, making the university an attractive option for international students. Hochschule Fresenius operates multiple campuses in major German cities including Berlin, Frankfurt am Main, Cologne, Munich, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Wiesbaden, and Idstein, across several federal states such as Hesse, North Rhine-Westphalia, and Bavaria. Although it is a private university with tuition fees, all of its programs are accredited by the German state. The university is also distinguished by strong partnerships with companies and institutions, opportunities for practical training, and international collaborations with universities worldwide, which enhance graduates’ employment prospects after graduation.
