Lincoln Bishop University (formerly Bishop Grosseteste)

Lincoln Bishop University is a public university located in the historic city of Lincoln, England. It was originally founded in 1862 as an Anglican teacher training college and evolved over more than 150 years into a full-fledged university with the authority to award its own degrees. In 2025, the institution was officially renamed from Bishop Grosseteste University to Lincoln Bishop University following formal approval by the UK’s Office for Students.
