The New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) was founded in 1955 as a private, non-profit higher education institution in New York State, United States, and has since pursued a long-term strategic vision of becoming a globally connected academic institution. Today, NYIT operates campuses in Manhattan and Long Island, along with international locations in the Middle East and China, as well as a campus in Vancouver, Canada.
