New York Institute of Technology
Vancouver - Canada
The New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) was founded in 1955 as a private, non-profit higher education institution in New York State, United States, and has since pursued a long-term strategic vision of becoming a globally connected academic institution. Today, NYIT operates campuses in Manhattan and Long Island, along with international locations in the Middle East and China, as well as a campus in Vancouver, Canada. By joining NYIT, students become part of an international academic environment spanning two major global gateway cities: New York, one of the world’s most influential metropolitan centers, and Vancouver, widely recognized as one of the most livable and visually stunning cities worldwide. The Vancouver campus is equipped with advanced computer and clean-technology laboratories, student lounges, and a distance learning center, providing a modern and supportive academic setting. The campus community is enriched by special-interest clubs, a student advisory council, an honor society, and a wide range of social and recreational activities organized throughout the year. All academic programs offered at the Vancouver campus are eligible for the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), while the Master of Science in Energy Management and the Master of Science in Cybersecurity also qualify for additional graduate-level benefits, reinforcing NYIT’s commitment to career-focused education and global professional readiness.
