The University of Cumbria is a public university in the North West of England, United Kingdom, established in 2007 through the merger of St Martin’s College, the Cumbria Institute of the Arts, and the Cumbria campuses of the University of Central Lancashire. Although a relatively young institution, its legacy traces back over 150+ years through predecessor colleges. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programmes across disciplines such as health and science, education, business, law, social sciences, outdoor and environmental studies, arts and creative subjects, and community services, with strong emphasis on practical learning and real-world applicability.
